Amateur and Commercial Photography and Videography Policy

Prior to recording video footage or photographing any aspect of McGhee Tyson Airport and/or the property of its tenants for commercial or personal use – MKAA employees, contractors, tenants or airport passengers/guests must obtain approval from the Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority’s Marketing and Public Relations Department at (865) 342-3014. 

The only exception to this policy is if airport employees or tenants take photographs or film their leased space for their corporate use. 

Requests may take approximately 1 to 3 business days to process and is subject to escort availability.  

This policy also applies to all amateur and commercial photographers and media representatives. 

The Metropolitan Knoxville Airport Authority and the Transportation Security Administration reserve the right to restrict filming or photographing of airport property and the security checkpoint at any time.
